This gave me an opportunity to carry out a considerable amount of research, trying to understand design stylization, colour utilization, importance of negative space, costumes and all such elements which give traditional paintings, be it Persian, Mogul or even the Rajasthani cloth paintings, its rich character. While designing this puppet I combined this information with my understanding of the cartoon image.
